IT Training Specialist

What You’ll Do:
The IT Training Specialist will provide training to employees.

 

What You’ll Need:
One of the following:
A high school diploma/equivalent plus at least 4 years of IT work experience
An Associate’s degree and at least 3 years of IT work experience,
A Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of IT work experience
At least 3 years of experience in software training and course development including classroom and online setting
At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office version 2010 or higher
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skill
Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver instructor led courses in a classroom or online setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong documentation and attention to detail skills for developing training materials
Demonstrated ability to present ideas to all levels in an organization
Demonstrated ability to conduct research for course development and delivery concepts
Ability to effectively prioritize and direct the execution of tasks in a high-pressure environment
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional customer service orientation
Additional work hours may be required, including weekends, primarily when traveling or when necessary to train at production facilities
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically
Must have a valid driver’s license and a favorable motor vehicle report

 

What’ll Make You Stand Out:
Prefer experience training users on MS Office tools
Prefer experience using a corporate intranet
Prefer experience using course development software (or similar product)
Prefer experience with a learning management system (LMS)
Prefer experience leading power user groups
